A question that I often get asked here at theflipcamcorder.com is "Which is the best camcorder to use on my helmet."
First let's talk about the criteria I'd consider when buying a helmet camcorder. In terms of helmet camcorders I'm basing my criteria on size, quality and quantity.
- Small camcorder in terms of size and weight. As well, it must be able to easily attach to my helmet through a camcorder accessory or some other means.
- Quality footage from the camcorder where (obviously) the higher the quality the better. This is especially important because you aren't typically using a helmet camcorder to walk around the world. You're using it to tape yourself mountain biking, skateboarding, etc...
- Quantity: The amount of footage that the camcorder can store
